CASE STUDIES
Maxine
Studied Level 2 Beauty Therapy including nails at The Academy. She studied a range of courses and now has her own business in Scarborough. Nails is her specialism, she does amazing personal designs and detailed nail art. Maxine enjoyed her time at The Academy, she feels the courses gave her the skills to be successful.
Caio
Studied the Level 3 Hair Professional Apprenticeship. He works in a salon and comes to The Academy one day per week for off the job training. He completed the Level 2 and scored top marks in his end point assessment. Caio is an Academy Ambassador and really enjoys competition work.
Max
Max went to Pindar School and now studies at The Academy. Max has been learning skills for the hair industry and enjoys a placement in a salon one day per week. He has also passed Level 1 maths and English at The Academy. Max will be staying at The Academy next year to study Level 2.
Peter
Studies Level 2 Hairdressing Professional Apprenticeship. He works in a salon near Bridlington and attends The Academy one day per week. He enjoys all parts of the course especially styling. Peter represented The Academy at the Regional AHT Competitions in Gateshead. He has passed Level 2 maths at The Academy.
